USAF conducts ISR mission in Romania

CAMPIA TURZII, Romania — Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance is one of the Air Force’s five enduring core missions, and is integral to global vigilance and foundational to global reach and power. The U.S. Air Force has deployed MQ-9 Reaper aircraft and approximately 90 Airmen at the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii, Romania, to conduct ISR missions in support of NATO operations.

432 WG/AEW prepare Reapers, equipment to deploy downrange

CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Airmen from the 432nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron weigh aerospace ground equipment for transport at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, Aug. 5, 2020. Road to readiness: UDMs prepare Airmen for deployment

CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada — Protecting the nation’s freedom is more than a job--it’s a way of life. For Airmen slated to travel downrange, their lifeline to safeguarding this freedom lies with the unit deployment manager (UDM). “Every unit has a unit deployment manager,” said Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah, 43nd Wing/ 432nd Group UDM. “UDMs will coordinate with their leadership to fill deployment requirements, and keep up with readiness of the members within their unit.”
