Creech Legal

The Creech AFB Office of the Staff Judge Advocate provides high-quality legal advice and expertise in the areas of civil law, contract law, labor law, environmental law, claims and military justice for courts-martial and non-judicial punishment actions.  The Office also provides legal assistance to individual military members, retirees and family members on personal and civil legal matters.

Legal Assistance Eligibility
The Creech AFB Legal Office can only provide legal assistance on personal and civil matters.  We cannot assist clients with the following: criminal matters, personal commercial enterprises or businesses, issues on behalf of third parties, representation in court or administrative hearings, or the preparation of real estate documents or living trusts.  Please seek outside counsel for these issues.

Represented by an Attorney?
If you are already represented by a civilian attorney for any matter on which you are seeking legal assistance, you must provide a written waiver or letter of consent from your attorney before seeing a legal assistance attorney.

The Legal Office provides free, confidential legal assistance on personal, civil legal matters to eligible clients, including active duty or retired military members and their dependents. Examples of personal, civil legal matters include: wills, powers of attorney, landlord-tenant issues, consumer protection laws, and Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) matters.

Legal Assistance Continued

Please note: The Area Defense Counsel (ADC) provides individual Air Force members independent legal representation.  Airmen facing adverse administrative actions, or who are suspected of committing an offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, can receive confidential legal advice from an ADC.  Do not contact the base legal office for these issues as everything you say can be used against you in court!  You may contact the ADC at DSN 682-4034

Legal Assistance and Wills Hours
Legal Assistance attorneys can prepare wills and advance medical directives, including living wills and medical powers of attorney.  If you wish to have an attorney prepare a will for you, please go to the Air Force Legal Assistance Website, https://aflegalassistance.law.af.milcomplete the online worksheet, record the ticket number and call our office to schedule an appointment at 702-404-0881.

Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Appointments are 20 minutes, so please use the handouts available on this website to learn about your legal issue and prepare specific questions.  Please bring all relevant documents with you to your appointment.

The Legal Office processes claims both for and against the Air Force.  To file a claim with our office, please cal702-404-0881 or 702-652-5407.
