ABOUT US

The Creech Legal Office is here for your legal assistance needs.  We provide free, confidential legal assistance on personal, civil legal matters to the following eligible clients:

  • All active duty military
  • Active status reservist or National Guard called or ordered to active duty for more than 30 days
  • Reservists released from active duty, after serving 30 days or more
  • Retirees entitled to retired or retainer pay
  • Dependents
  • Federal civilian employees deploying to or in a theater operation
  • The executor, personal representative, administrator, or legally-recognized estate representative of service members who die on active duty or as a result of an injury or disability that resulted in retirement from active duty regarding matters relating to the settlement of estates, including tax assistance.
  • Foreign military personnel, and their dependents residing with them, assigned to the United States either permanently or temporarily under official orders for purposes of combined missions with United States personnel or for training in programs sponsored by the United States.

Beyond The Scope
We cannot assist clients with the following: criminal matters, personal commercial enterprises or businesses, issues on behalf of third parties, representation in court or administrative hearings, or the preparation of real estate documents or living trusts.  You may seek outside counsel for 
these issues.
 
Scheduling a Will
With the exception of deployers, members must complete an online will worksheet before scheduling a will appointment.  Will worksheets can be found on the Air Force Legal Assistance website at https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil/.  Members will receive a case sensitive ticket number from the website, and you can call us with the number or email it to our JA org box.  Please note, if you email us your ticket number, please call us to assist in coordinating your appointment.  Do not hesitate to make an appointment if you need legal advice (to include but not limited to landlord/tenant issues, family law, debt collection, immigration, contract issues, etc.) or if you need a will.
 
Claims
The Legal Office processes claims both for and against the Air Force. To file a claim with our office, please call 702-404-0881 or contact Nellis Legal office at 702-652-5407. For Household Goods claims, please contact the carrier first. If they do not respond in a timely manner, please contact the Air Force Claims Service Center at https://claims.jag.af.mil
