Creech activates 432nd Mission Support Group

Col. Stephen Jones, 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing commander, officiated the historic standup of the wing’s Mission Support Group during an installation command assumption ceremony, July 11, 2019. At the event, Nellis Air Force Base leadership deactivated the 799th Air Base Group, and Creech leadership activated the 432nd MSG in its place.

New Operations Center in RPA enterprise

Since 1996, the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper enterprise has been engaged in continuous combat operations in multiple theaters around the world. As the demand for remotely piloted aircraft support grew, so did the U.S. Air Force’s reconnaissance and attack capabilities.This rapid expansion left the 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing with a need for tighter operational control. Thus the Persistent Attack and Reconnaissance Operations Center, a newly established single point of contact for combat operations was born and officially opened Oct. 16, 2017 at Creech Air Force Base.
