Calling all Hunters: Commanders talk mission updates with RPA Airmen

Col. Julian Cheater, 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Jamie Newman, 432nd WG/432nd AEW command chief hosted a commander’s call, at Creech, Mar. 8, 2019. This all-call provided 432nd WG leadership with the ability to update Airmen at Creech, as well as the geographically separated units at Ellsworth, Shaw and Whiteman Air Force Bases.

732nd OSS activates, sets RPA group up for success

The 732nd Operations Support Squadron activated during an assumption of command ceremony at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, Jan. 23, 2019. The new unit, dubbed the “Archers,” will provide the support required for the MQ-9 Reaper attack squadrons within the 732nd Operations Group to seamlessly execute their persistent attack and reconnaissance missions.

No place to hide: CSAF lauds combat RPA innovation

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein visited Creech and met with 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing Airmen, Jan. 15, 2019. Throughout his visit, Goldfein toured the base, received an update of current MQ-9 Reaper operations, and met with Airmen who support the MQ-9 mission.

RPA community extends holiday spirit to Indian Springs

Airmen from the 432nd Wing donated wrapped gifts to staff from Indian Springs Schools, Dec. 14, 2018, in appreciation for the local community’s support to the base. The gifts were purchased and wrapped by volunteer Airmen, and will be later hand-delivered to students’ families by members of the Creech Fire Department and Santa Claus himself.

Army general reflects on ISIS annihilation with RPA Airmen

U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Paul Funk, III Armored Corps and Fort Hood, Texas, commanding general, visited Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, Dec. 10, 2018. Funk was the commanding general of the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve for U.S. Central Command.

Air Force awards first Remote device: Dominant persistent attack aircrew recognized

The Air Force’s first-ever remote “R” device was presented to aircrews of the 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing July 11, 2018 at Creech. Col. Julian C. Cheater, 432nd WG/432nd AEW commander, ceremoniously presented the Meritorious Service Medals and Air Force Commendation Medals with the device.

RPA attack squadron honors 100 years of training, combat

In the 100 years since its activation, the 78th Attack Squadron, now at Creech, has taken on a myriad of missions and locations. It now maintains combat-ready reservists who conduct MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft training, as well as, integrated and expeditionary combat operations.

RPA Wing celebrates 75 years of accomplishment

Members of the 432nd Wing celebrated its 75th anniversary and the many achievements the wing accomplished throughout its history, Feb. 22, 2018 at Creech. The unit was activated as the 432nd Observation Group Feb. 22, 1943 at Alachua Army Air Field, Fla. as the nation prepared for WWII.
