Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign kick-off

Our Hunters kicked off the Creech AFB Campaign for the Air Force Assistance Fund, which will run until April 9th! The Air Force Assistance Fund campaign is a way to give back to our Hunter Family by supporting organizations designed to support Airmen and their families. PT test pushed to July, updates to scoring, physical components ahead

When assessments resume, the three-component fitness test (1.5 mile run, 1 minute of pushups and situps) will be reset with scores calculated on a new three component scoring table. In addition, work is underway to separate scoring into five-year age groups as opposed to the previous ten – for example, age groups will start at <25, 25-29 years old, 30-34, years old, etc.

Gen. Kelly Speaks on Accelerating Change Across the Air Force at AFA Virtual Event

During the 2021 Virtual Aerospace Warfare Symposium, Gen. Mark Kelly, commander of Air Combat Command, shared remarks during the panel on “Accelerating Change Across the Air Force,” Feb. 25, 2021. Kelly discussed how ACC is working to accelerate change to remain relevant and credible for both today’s and tomorrow’s fight. In addition, he emphasized the Air Force should make significant changes to instill a warrior culture and harness the importance of the electromagnetic spectrum for the future of warfare.

ADLS training transitions to “myLearning” in first step for new force development learning management system

As part of Air Education and Training Command’s efforts to aggressively and cost-effectively modernize education and training, Airmen and Guardians can access the “myLearning” digital platform on the Air Force Portal beginning March 18, with the first phase consisting of a modernized and interactive training platform that allows Airmen to access training modules previously found on the Advanced Distributed Learning Service (ADLS).
