Spartan Warrior 20-9: NATO strengthens air power through distributed training
Italian Air Force Senior Airman Grittani Onofrio, Joint Terminal Attack Controller, engages in a training scenario utilizing the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Warfare Center’s JTAC domed simulator at the Warfare Center’s facility in Einsiedlerhof, Germany, Sept. 18, 2020. The Airmen conducted the scenario in preparation for exercise Spartan Warrior 20-9. For SW 20-9, the Warfare Center pulled participants from Geilenkirchen, Germany, for the NATO Airborne Warning and Control System; Netherlands’ Control Reporting Centers; MQ-9 operators from Creech Air Force Base, Nevada; and other entities to include fighter assets from France.
