NTTR/RSS certifies arresting system

A powered support systems technician with the Nellis Testing and Training Range’s Support Squadron and a power production quality assurance evaluator with the 799th Air Base Civil Engineering Squadron look over the arresting system Nov. 15, 2016, at Creech Air Force Base, Nev. The system in place at Creech is a Barrier Arresting Kit-12 energy absorber with a Barrier Arresting Kit-14 retractable hook cable system designed to safely stop landing aircraft during emergency situations.
