Upon continuous assessment of COVID-19 trends on base and within the local area, Creech AFB has upgraded the Health Protection Condition to Charlie as of Nov. 24, 2020.

Also, the installation’s Public Health Emergency has been reactivated, but will terminate automatically within 30 days unless renewed.

The shift to HPCON Charlie and PHE reactivation allows the installation commander additional authority to enforce social distancing. This includes providing additional telework opportunities, expanding the civilian leave policy and further restricting base access if required.

In conjunction with these changes, the DFAC and all other on-base dining options will revert to takeout only. This will limit prolonged in-person contact of cross-sections of the installation. Additionally, consistent with Nevada's statewide pause, both Fitness Centers will limit capacity to 25 percent, and mandate face coverings be worn at all times, regardless of physical activity.

In partnership with Public Health of the 99th Medical Group, Nellis AFB, and the State of Nevada, Creech AFB leadership will continue to monitor the effectiveness of their COVID-19 response.
