MQ-1 Predator crashes off base Published June 30, 2014 By Staff Reports 432nd Wing/432nd Air Expeditionary Wing Public Affairs CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- At approximately 1:08 p.m. PST on June 27, an MQ-1 Predator crashed during a routine training mission in an unpopulated area 14 mi. northwest of base. No one was injured. Base first responders have secured the site and all appropriate safety measures have been employed. More information will follow as it becomes available. The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long endurance remotely piloted aircraft. Preadtors can perform the following missions and tasks: intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, close air support, combat search and rescue, precision strike, buddy-lase, convoy/raid overwatch, route clearance, target development, and terminal air guidance.
