Influenza vaccine available, new services now provided

CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada --  The Creech Medical Clinic will be offering the influenza vaccine during extended hours for all Active Duty personnel on the south side of base Nov. 18-20 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For location and questions, call the Creech Medical Clinic at 702-404-1142.

The Creech Medical Clinic has also made changes beyond extending the waiting room of the facility; they now have more services offered to Creech members.

The new services include nutritional medicine, family advocacy, and behavioral health optimization program. Nutritional Medicine is available by appointment the first Wednesday of each month, Family Advocacy is available every Thursday, and BHOP is available daily.

Other services offered include prescriptions pick-up which, is available Wednesdays from 8-11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. To pick up refills on Wednesday, call 702-652-5359 by 10 a.m. the Tuesday before, and be prepared to provide the prescription number. Normal clinic hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sick Call is every Monday through Friday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 2:30-3 p.m. for acute issues and return-to-fly status only. Ambulance Services will be utilized as needed and if an emergency arises, call 911.

Appointments are available for both flyers and non-flyers assigned to Creech. Flyers will call 702-404-1142 and non-flyers 702-653-2273. For non-flyers, be sure to notify the appointment line operators that you are stationed at Creech.

No appointment is needed for immunizations; all are based on walk-in service and available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

All physical therapy appointments will be scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays by referral only. Call 702-653-2273 to schedule a new consultation.

Finally, All public health, occupational health, hearing exams, wellness visits, and all non-deployment-related issue appointments can be made by calling 702-404-1142.
