CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada -- The Creech basketball court is now open and available for all Creech members, effective Aug. 12, 2015. The courts are open to all members and contractors 24/7, as mission permits.

The new court has six goals, two courts running widthwise and lengthwise, while featuring a large cover to protect players from the intense desert sun.

If a personal basketball is not readily available, the Predator Fitness Center personnel will be able to check out equipment to members from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For afterhours, basketballs will be left out for players to use on an honor system basis. Gym members will be held responsible for returning the borrowed equipment by gym cameras.

The court can be reserved for events and squadron functions, but must be done five office days prior. For example, members requesting the court for a Wednesday would have to submit a request the Thursday prior.

Other upcoming quality of life projects include the volleyball court and soccer field which are both slated to be finished by Sept. 30, 2015.
