Creech AFB prepares for Military Saves Week

Having trouble maintaining the quality of life you deserve? Does saving money, building a retirement nest egg and having a plan for building wealth sound like something you're interested in? Well good news, Military Saves Week is Feb. 22 to Feb. 26 to help you reach all your financial goals.

The Creech Airman and Family Readiness Center will offer a number of financial seminars in recognition of Military Saves Week.  The main purpose of Military Saves Week is to provide in-depth financial education to military members, civilians and family members on base and around the world.

Investing 101 teaches Airmen the fundamentals of investing, the stock market, dollar cost averaging, types of investments and asset allocation.

Planning Your Financial Success empowers Airmen to gain control of their financial affairs, develop financial goals, and establish a written plan to put you on the road to wealth.

Understanding TSP teaches the basics of investing in Thrift Savings Plan and see how the program can help Airmen reach their long-term financial goals.

Matri-Money: Money & Marriage teaches Airmen and their spouses to recognize emotional triggers with finances and learn goal setting tips.

Understanding TSP - Wed, Feb 24 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Planning for Your Financial Success - Tues, Feb 23 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Planning for Your Financial Success - Thurs, Feb 25, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Registration is requested and classes are open to all active duty, guard, reserve, civilian, contractors, retirees, and families.
