ACC Bridge connects Airmen worldwide

(AFNS) — Air Combat Command’s Directorate of Manpower, Personnel and Services partnered with a public affairs team to develop a new website exclusively focused on resources that will build resiliency, improve diversity and prevent violence. They chose to call it The Bridge because it will connect ACC leaders, supervisors, teammates and families when actively used.

Senate confirms Barrett to be Air Force secretary
WASHINGTON (AFNS) — The 85 to 7 vote makes Barbara Barrett the third consecutive woman confirmed to lead the Air Force and its 685,000 total force Airmen. Barrett replaces Heather Wilson who resigned in May. Undersecretary Matthew Donovan served as acting secretary in the interim.
